J.C. is the founder and principal at JCARL Group. He is also a partner at Cyber Activities Group (CAG), a private international investment and solutions company specializing in advancing secure digital infrastructure for national governments and commercial clients. He currently supports operations on the continents of Australia, Europe, Africa, and North America. J.C. serves as a board member and advisor to global technology companies and non-profit organizations. He is an advisor to the U.S. Department of Defense and University of Maryland’s Advanced Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS). He has over two decades of experience as an executive with BAE Systems where key roles included Chief Security Officer, Global Chief Information Security Officer, and advanced technologies program management. Prior to joining BAE Systems, he was a career miliary officer serving as a colonel with the U.S. Air Force. He is a former appointee to the U.S. Government’s National Industrial Security Program Policy Advisory Committee and the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Cybersecurity Commission. J.C. was elected for two terms as chairman of the Aerospace Industries Association’s Industrial Security Committee. He served on the board of directors for the National Defense-Information Sharing and Analysis Center and remains as an advisor to the chairman.
